This week, Senior Marketing Manager, Justine Abson, talks to Matthew Riley. Matthew has been a patient and care representative for Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust for over five years. He has a range of experience as a patient and a carer across physical and mental health services - and is passionate about platforming patient and carer voices and ensuring services listen and learn from care experiences.

Justine and Matthew focus on the importance of communication that is non-judgemental, accessible, and personalised to individual needs, to better support patients suffering from mental illnesses as well as offering efficient training and information to professionals and the wider population. This episode also covers everything from health inequalities, virtual wards and IoT devices, and more.
